Big Bear Valley is accessed via three state highways: SR-18 from Crestline and Lake Arrowhead, SR-38 from Redlands, and SR-330 from San Bernardino. Caltrans monitors all three routes in real time. During winter storms, chains may be required and roads can close without notice.
