Big Bear Lake Concert Series closes out its third year with latin rock and funk in The Village
Bardo and Mestizo Beat headline the free finale of the summer's most popular outdoor music tradition.

The Big Bear Lake Concert Series is wrapping up its third summer with a danceable send-off in The Village, featuring two bands that blend latin rock, funk, jazz, and psychedelic grooves for the series' final night.
Weekend 8 brings two acts to the Village stage. Bardo draws on 70s soul, funk, and classic rock for a sound rooted in personal introspection as much as rhythmic energy. Mestizo Beat, an all-instrumental group, rounds out the night with a genre-bending mix of soulful funk, jazz, psychedelic rock, and hip-hop. Together, they promise one of the more eclectic pairings of the summer lineup.
Like every show in the series, this final concert is completely free to attend. The event is presented by Big Bear Mountain Resort in partnership with Visit Big Bear — the same team that has grown the series into a summer staple over the past three years.
The specific date and start time for Weekend 8 could not be confirmed at press time. Residents and visitors can check Big Bear Mountain Resort's events page or Visit Big Bear's calendar for the latest scheduling details before heading down to The Village.
