This beautiful, tree-shade picnic area is located off Mill Creek Road. The parking lot is not that large, so we recommend getting there early if you want to find a parking space during the busy months. There are plenty of picnic tables under a pine tree covered grove and there is one standard, two-stall restroom, which could be taken care much better than they are. This Aspen Glen Picnic area is a beautiful spot surrounded by tall pine trees that provide plenty of shade. It’s a peaceful place to relax, with several picnic tables scattered throughout the grove. This place is beautiful. There's still snow here. There's only one small place to park, it's $5 for parking. They have picnic tables and restrooms here. Because the parking lot is full of snow, a small sedan will not make it to the parking lot. You will get stuck. You need a bigger car or a 4 wheel drive.
