Great food and a very reasonable price. Especially in the 55 and over menu. Great service. Every employee had a smile and very attentive. The banana split was yummy. So was the salmon and red mashed potatoes... Mmmmmm. Very home cooking type of selections. Tasty not overly spicy. I would recommend it highly... Yummy. Estava sabroso... Very family oriented.. This place is so cool! From the giant shark head entrance to the tiki-ish themed decor inside. There's also outdoor seating with a gorgeous view. They have a bunch of poke bowls to choose from and I overheard one of the servers talking about the Krakatoa bowl, so I got that one. We were told of this new restaurant & we should try it. This was definitely one of the best places we ate in this trip. The people were friendly, the atmosphere was perfect & the burgers/fries delicious!!!
Grizzly Manor Cafe
Came for lunch around 1pm with a few people. Was a decent experience, staff was amicable and food was served fairly quickly. This is a cozy space in which we waited 15 minutes to be seated. Food was okay, price point to proportions is great. Pancakes were cooked and moist. Eggs and hash browns were also good. Parking available on site.
Murray's Saloon & Eatery
BEST BAR IN TOWN! Food here is top tier. Always fresh and delicious! It don't matter what I get here, it's all so goood! The service is amazing. They treat each customer with the highest service. Skittles and Kevin are my favorite bartenders 💛 My go to is a Mechilada and a steak 🥩 The steak is my favorite plate handsdown 🍽 They serve great portions. Enough to have left overs later ^_^

Very fun establishment! Massive outdoor patio with sawdust on the floor, a large stage for live music and large dance floor. A lot of seating, cornhole games and little cabanas for private parties. Cute little tiki bar as well. Inside is massive with an indoor bar and lovely festive decorations everywhere. Line dancing on Wednesday nights. Ample free parking. Sweet Basil Bistro
It's a small Italian restaurant, but the staff are warm, friendly, and attentive. The food is excellent; the lobster lasagna and grilled salmon are particularly outstanding, and I highly recommend them. However, their mushroom pasta was rather bland, which I didn't like! After your main course, if you're still interested, I suggest trying their desserts. We only tried two, but our whole family was very satisfied!

We ended up sitting at one of the few tables in the bar because we didn't make reservations early enough for main room. The dark, vintage, western atmosphere was fun. Excellent service and delicious food! My family and I stopped here for dinner on a weekend, and we were seated right away. Everyone loved their dish, the stuffed chicken was so flavorful, the salmon was perfectly cooked and the burger was amazing. The french fries were so crispy and fresh!! And the pasta dishes were both nicely balanced flavors and not too heavy of a sauce. I recommend this spot now to anyone tells me they are visiting Big Bear!

We recently visited Oakdale restaurant in Big Bear, and it was absolutely amazing! If you’re in Big Bear and want that true mountain-town comfort food experience, Teddy Bear Restaurant is it. The vibe is cozy, classic, and welcoming. It definitely has that old-school diner charm, which honestly makes it even better. It gets busy (for a reason), but it’s worth the wait. As an emo kid at heart, I really enjoyed this place! I loved the playlist—it’s exactly what I would’ve been listening to in middle school. So nostalgic. The entire restaurant and menu is rock/punk music-themed. Our service was super fast, and I also received a complimentary churro dessert since it was my birthday. Stopped by 572 Social Kitchen & Lounge and had a really great experience. First off, they’ve got a good selection of beer on tap, and the prices were very reasonable, which is always a win. Perfect spot to kick back without feeling like you’re getting overcharged. Food was on point. The Birria bowl was packed with flavor and super satisfying. The ahi burger was fresh and cooked just right, and the cheeseburger was a classic—juicy, simple, and done well. Big plus for being family-friendly too.
Jakobe's Famous Foods
I’ve been here 3 times now & am very well pleased every time. The food is delicious, the service is great & it’s never busy. It is however a bit pricey, but well worth it. Tonight my husband had the salmon pica & I had the spinach ravioli with ricotta and artichoke hearts. 😋 Soooo good!

Great food! Their smoked salmon is the best I've ever had and the Sangria on tap is delicious. It will be great in the winter served a little warm. The staff are very friendly, especially the owners. All around fun place and great experience. Highly recommend.
Santana Mavericks Bar N Grill
Most underrated spot in Big Bear. Loved them before they moved to the waterfront. Had the best orange chicken of my liiiiife. Hubs has the steak fajitas and they were fire. Great happy hour and drink selection. Can’t wait to go here in the summer for the patio. The outside of the spot isn’t fancy but don’t let that fool you.
De La Nonna - Big Bear
This is the best place to eat in big bear. There’s great outdoor dining with yurts and fire pits but a very cool bar inside too. We came for one night and ate every meal here. The pizza is delicious. The salad is so fresh and the Aperol spritz is top tier. Also a phenomenal breakfast menu. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and oat cakes both were amazing! So good we didn’t get a picture. The staff is also so kind. Mauricio is fantastic.
Hacienda Grill
Came to this town to celebrate my birthday, craving for Mexican food and we tried a couple places, this is the best experience so far! The price is fair, and portions are pretty big, and food variety in one plate is so good. I love my al pastor and the virgin peach margarita! Definitely coming back next time for our vacation ❤️😋😋😋😋 and they keep the chips warm and the salsa is delicious 🤤
The Pines Lakefront
The food was exquisite and the view you can't beat. Their Lamb chops and their fettuccine noodles with shrimp my favorite. The service was great everyone so attentive and helpful. The best part was I was able to spot a Bald Eagle 🦅 right outside the lake and when we went outside it was standing on top of a tree so magical. Don't miss it. I know I'm going to visit them again.
The Bone Yard Tap Room & Grill
Came in on our drive through Big Bear Lakes, Vegas from LA. I think overall we were really happy with the service as they were so friendly and very patient with us. The food was good but not sure if I'd have the smoked meat sections from there. Sadly the briskets weren't available so a lot of the food options weren't there so we can't tell for sure of it was worth it. P.s. HUGE drinks selection there!
La Pergola Trattoria
Contrary to what all the negative reviews say we had a pleasant experience with the party of 12. Our servers retentive, appetizers were delivered extremely timely with the food following shortly after. The chicken piccata, shrimp, scampi, and the Una meatball were delicious. We will definitely be coming back next year.
