Juniper Point Picnic Area

What a fabulously scenic spot! Jupiter point Park was not too busy when we came before all the snow fell. Beautiful areas with picnic tables and outdoor grills although I’m not sure what times a year you’re actually allowed to spark them up and cook your food due to the fire dangers. A lot of people on the banks fishing with their families. Lots of pretty mallard ducks floating around honking their beaks adorably. Beautiful stunning views of snow, Summit and Bear Mountain and the lake! Beautiful

Just passed by and greeted some ‘fishers’.. beautiful place and very ample parking if necessary, also great for a good hike! Can see Snow Summit at a distance with some snow on the slopes.

This is another rather large picnic area that can be found on the north side of Big Bear Lake. The area is accessible off the Rim of the World Scenic Byway (Route 38) with numerous picnic tables and BBQ grills, all within a lakeside setting surrounded by natural features – we especially like the tall pine trees.
