Meadows Edge Picnic Area

This is one of the largest picnic areas you will find within the Sand Bernadino National Forest near Big Bear Lake. Take Route 38 to North Shore Lane and follow the signs to the area. Like many picnic sites around the lake, they are open daily from 0800 to 1800 hours and this is a fee-based location so make sure when you park your vehicle that you display a valid recreation pass. The picnic area offers a wide variety of options, and there are plenty of grills and tables with adjacent parking spa

Beautiful surroundings and plenty of nature to enjoy. Walking trails and bike paths as well as picnic tables and lakeside views. You can get the adventure pass you need to park here at the discovery center just down the road. Highly recommended!!
