North Shore Recreation Area

Pretty calm beach, lots of people come boating here and also fishing. Quite a few joggers and evening walkers. There are these interesting black birds that will fly from tree to tree and kind of follow you. Not sure if they are territorial? but they do fly super close to your head following you...

We made it out of town that Sunday after the roads got closed back in early March during the first blizzard. I was there for 3 days prior, digging to keep the snow down to access our cars. It was an experience for sure and my first blizzard. I'm glad my family made it home safe. ( Don't take the word Blizzard lightly) my mistake.

I took my granddaughters trout fishing at big bear north shores Friday. The weather was perfect there were so many boats on the water and so many people on the shores celebrating the 4th. that fishing was impossible so we decided to hike around the area and just enjoy all of the great scenery the area has to offer
