De La Nonna - Big Bear

This is the best place to eat in big bear. There’s great outdoor dining with yurts and fire pits but a very cool bar inside too. We came for one night and ate every meal here. The pizza is delicious. The salad is so fresh and the Aperol spritz is top tier. Also a phenomenal breakfast menu. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and oat cakes both were amazing! So good we didn’t get a picture. The staff is also so kind. Mauricio is fantastic.

Top notch service, fantastic view of the lake, and delicious food! It’s also very kids and dog friendly. What more can you ask from a restaurant! Do make a reservation in advance on Resy as it fills up quite quickly on weekends and holidays. We loved our pizzas and eggplant sandwich. They are unique and special. The view of the lake is just so special. It’s November time and we were seated outside. So it was cold but the heaters kept us warm. Multiple waiting staff checked on us constantly maki
The food was delicious and the service was very good. One thing we didn’t love was that for larger groups a 20% gratuity is automatically added, which felt quite expensive. Also, everything was served on disposable plates and drinks came in small cups, some plastic and some glass. The pizzas were amazing—very different from the usual, fluffy, crunchy, with lots of olive oil and great flavor. The Caesar salad and burrata were very good as well.
