Only shop in town that sells Benchmade. Too bad they charge 15-25% above list (all knives, not just the Benchmades). On its own, this isn't too unusual for Big Bear. It's a big reason so many of us locals have to spend our money down the hill or online. What IS unusual, is that they lied about it. I have purchased two knives only to find out they were both priced over list (one by $30, one by over $40), and I have my receipts to prove it if they care to deny it on a more public level. BUYER BEWARE of their terrible return policy. A small little sign that they do not tell you about no returns, EVEN ON ITEMS NOT WORN, is all they refer you to. We spent $1,000 here and wanted to return a $35 unworn item, and they refused. Owners like these are why amazon is crushing the retail space with ability to return items.

I am a local business owner, and I was in the shop this morning and so disappointed with the handling of a couple of local men that come in to our place. They were having their boards waxed, and the service they received by the cashier/ employee who worked there was outrageous A young man who spoke with them was just way out of line.
