Skyline at Sundown brings mountaintop BBQ dining to Snow Summit this August

The one-night event pairs a buffet-style dinner with live music and sunset views from the top of the mountain.

Snow Summit is hosting Skyline at Sundown, a mountaintop dining event featuring an outdoor buffet-style BBQ dinner and panoramic sunset views, on August 30, 2026. The evening is designed as a special-occasion outing for families and friends looking to cap a summer day with something a little out of the ordinary.

Getting there is half the experience. Chair 1 opens for guest loading at 4:30 PM, with the last ride up departing at 5:30 PM. Food service runs from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, giving guests a full hour to enjoy the buffet while taking in the views. Live music by Kevin Krieg keeps the atmosphere going from 4:45 PM through 7:15 PM. The chairlift begins its download run at 6:30 PM, and all guests must be back at the base area by 7:30 PM.

A special event ticket is required for admission and is separate from any general Snow Summit pass. Ticket pricing could not be confirmed at press time — prospective guests should check Snow Summit's website or contact the resort directly for details and to purchase tickets before the event sells out.
