Skyline at Sundown brings mountaintop BBQ dinners to Snow Summit this September

Big Bear Mountain Resort's three-night outdoor dining series pairs buffet-style BBQ and live music with sunset views from the top of Snow Summit on September 10, 11, and 12. Skyline at Sundown is a ticketed mountaintop experience designed for families and friends looking to cap a summer day with fresh mountain air, golden-hour scenery, and a full buffet dinner — all above the valley floor.[1]

How the evening works

Guests ride Chair 1, which opens for loading at 4:30 PM, to reach the summit. The last chair up departs at 5:30 PM, so plan to arrive at the base with time to spare. Food service runs from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, and live entertainment fills the mountaintop from 4:45 PM through 7:15 PM. The last chair back down to the base area departs at 7:30 PM.[1]

Who's performing

The entertainment lineup is set for two of the three nights. Nikki Sparks takes the stage on September 11, and Josh Rogan performs on September 12. The act for the opening night, September 10, had not been announced as of this writing.[1]

Tickets and reservations

A special event ticket is required for each night you plan to attend — reservations are date-specific, so a separate booking must be made for each evening.[1] Ticket availability was not disclosed in resort materials, so if you're planning to go, booking early is advisable.
