Big Bair Takeover brings classic Volkswagen car show to Big Bear Lake in October

The Black Sunday Aircooled & Volksstyle Car Club is rolling into Big Bear Lake this fall with the Big Bair Takeover, a classic Volkswagen car show set for Saturday, October 3, at the Holiday Inn Resort The Lodge at Big Bear Lake on Village Drive. The event runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is free to attend as a spectator, with parking available on site.^[1]

The show is built around unique air-cooled and classic Volkswagen vehicles, with trophies and prizes awarded to standout entries. Visitors can also take part in raffles throughout the day, and organizers describe the atmosphere as welcoming for guests of all ages — whether you grew up wrenching on Beetles or you've simply never seen a pristine vintage Bus up close.^[2]

The venue sits in the heart of Big Bear Village, putting the car show within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants for those who want to make a full day of it. Parking is available directly at the Holiday Inn Resort, located at 40650 Village Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.^[2]
