The overall watch period runs from 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, through 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 31.
The most dangerous window — and the time most likely to see an actual shutoff — is expected between 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, and 3:00 a.m. Monday, August 31.
Residents who depend on electricity for medical equipment, refrigerated medications, or other life-sustaining needs should make preparations now. Charge devices, fill water containers, and confirm backup plans before Friday midday.
