The Hideaway Big Bear
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin. The place is very nice, beautifully set up, and feels cozy yet spacious at the same time. The location is truly amazing, the bus stop to the mountain for snowboarding is literally steps away (about a 2-minute walk), which made getting to the slopes incredibly easy and convenient. The cabin is also very close to the lake and within walking distance to a charming little village, which we loved exploring. Parking was never an issue, with plenty of
N+P Boutique Lodge
My stay at N + P Boutique Lodge was incredible from start to finish. The cabin is beautifully designed, cozy, and truly feels like a hidden gem in Big Bear. Every detail—from the layout to the décor—felt intentional and unique, giving the space a warm and stylish atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet still close enough to enjoy everything Big Bear has to offer. It was the perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and convenience. The experience fe
Big Bear Village Cabins
My husband and I stayed in Cabin 20 this past weekend and had a fabulous time. The temperature in Big Bear was exceptionally hot, but before we checked in Loraine had gone up to the cabin to ensure all the blinds were closed up and had the window AC unit on ready for our arrival. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Village, and our cabin (being higher up on the hill) even had a peekaboo view of the lake. Definitely recommend choosing Cabin 20 since it is up higher than the rest and thus provid
Bluegreen The Club at Big Bear Village
The place is beautiful & we are really loving the staff here! They are very nice, accommodating & some will even joke around with us. They have gone above & beyond to help us with anything & everything. We are going out exploring today & looking forward to witnessing the beauty & hopefully more super friendly folks.
Hillcrest Suites & Cabins
We have stayed at Hillcrest before and glad to be back. This is a small boutique type place with only 12 units. We like this type most since the setting is more personal, homey, and charming. Our room is clean and cozy and have everything we need. I like the decor as well, not cookie cutter like chain hotels but uniquely decorated with the mountain theme. We used the outdoors professional gas grill almost every night and this saved us money as well as letting us eat healthy (like we normally do
Castle Wood Cottages
My wife and I rented the Castle Garden cottage for our wedding anniversary. To say it was good would be an understatement. We both loved every detail: the "castle" moat with a waterfall you can turn on and off, the long medieval dining table, and tapestries and weapons on the walls. We used the built-in Jacuzzi to unwind and warm up after a relaxing after dinner walk around the village. In the morning, we had a visit from Sir Gawain, the feline manager, who is the friendliest cat I've ever met.
ITH Big Bear Lake Mountain Hostel & Lodge
Cute old hostel! Prime location. The room was comfortable. The upkeep inside isn’t the best. Came down for hot cocoa and boy was that a surprise! The box of cocoa powder mix on the breakfast table had been attacked by mice. 🐁 def would caution eating there. We brought our own cereal for breakfast and went out for meals.
Lagonita Lodge
My fiancé and I went away for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional hospitality and amenities of this hotel. Everything they offer is WELL worth the price and at an incredible location as well. 10/10 for sure making this a regular vacation spot
Pine Knot Guest Ranch
The staff is wonderful and very friendly. The cabins are spacious, clean and cozy. The jacuzzi was the perfect ending to chilly day. Location is perfect. It’s on the same street as Big Bear Village and a very short walk to get there. Don’t miss out on feeding the cute llamas on the property! This is our new go-to for a relaxing stay in Big Bear. Can’t wait to come back soon.
Sleepy Forest Resorts
The resort was such a lovely place to be at and there was great communication. Any issue I had was immediately answered and resolved within the hour, and I was so grateful for that. I had such a wonderful time staying here. The design was really cool and the cabin I stayed in was super great with so many cool ameneties like the jazuuzi when the nights got too cold. I would definitely come back
Eagle's Nest Lodge
Perfect rustic getaway! Beautiful wooden mountain house with a cozy, clean room and great location. Loved the relaxing yard and all-day coffee and tea. We even met friendly guests — such a warm, welcoming place. Everything was perfect!
Big Bear Frontier
We enjoyed our stay at The Frontier Resort at Big Bear two weeks ago. The location was fabulous and easy to get in and out of and convenient to food, bars, skiing, tubing, gorgeous views and more. We were in Room 207 that was equipped with two queen beds, a great bathroom that was updated and spacial. The room had been updated and had that wilderness feel but without the mustyness and moisture. The room had a large window that gave us morning sunshine and views of the Big Bear Lake all iced
Noon Lodge
Noon Lodge has a rustic cabin feel—definitely older, but the eclectic décor adds charm. The grounds were well kept, thanks to the on-site manager, Jesus. He was incredibly responsive throughout our family’s weekend stay, checking on things after the rain, helping with lighting, and replacing a broken coffee pot right away. He really made the stay smooth and welcoming. Overall, a great guest experience with Jesus—I’d stay here again!
Holiday Inn Resort the Lodge at Big Bear Lake by IHG
We made a last-minute trip to Big Bear last weekend to catch the snow, and like everyone else, we found that most Airbnbs and hotels were either booked or refused one-night stays. We ended up at the Holiday Inn basically out of necessity. We’d driven past it before and weren't impressed by the older exterior, but we were pleasantly surprised! Despite the dated look of the building and lobby, the rooms are very well-maintained. The highlight was definitely the heating system; it’s an older style
Postcard Cabins Big Bear, Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy
This little getaway was totally spontaneous — I just wanted to escape the fast pace of the city. But the stay here completely blew me away! The cabin was so cozy and relaxing, and it had everything you could possibly need — from heating, fridge, and snacks to speakers, lovely decor, full sets of dishes, pots, pans, and even a gas stove. Everything was perfectly prepared. Absolutely a 10/10 experience! 🌲✨
Big Bear Manor Jacuzzi Cabins
Got there and room hadn't been cleaned. Had to go cabin to cabin to find someone because no host on site. Found on site maid. She cleaned room emailed host letting him know. Next night went to dinner. Got dinner to go so we (wife and myself) could enjoy in room. Returned to find door wouldn't open. Again my wife found the maid she tried to enter room with butter knives. This didn't work. Are my dinner in my car while waiting. After dinner I got a window open and put the maid's daughter through t
Golden Bear Cottages
Relive your childhood vacations or experience Big Bear for the first time, Golden Bear cottages are the real deal for that authentic mountain cabin experience - way better than a VRBO and half the price. Located conveniently close to town, clean and friendly. Fun for the couples or the whole family. Get Snowed In, light the fire & pop some corn for the best time ever.
Grey Squirrel Resort & Vacation Rental Homes
Overall, my experience with the Gray squirrel resort was very positive. Staff was a pretty frickin' awesome. We came in and one of the worst snowstorms and cottage was very cozy. Wood was cheap, and we definitely had a good time. I would recommend it, especially for the price
The Burgundy
An incredibly sweet and beautiful hotel. I stayed in one of the bungalows, and I absolutely love bungalows. The hot tub looked small in the photos, but when I got in, I realized it was actually quite big—maybe I’m just small 😊 The room was clean, organized, and very comfortable. It truly felt like a cozy little mountain cabin. You can even buy firewood for the fireplace for $15, which was a really nice touch. We went to the lobby for breakfast. It’s not a huge, elaborate breakfast with eggs a
Big Bear LakeFront Lodge
TLDR version - This is not a luxury hotel, but the price to quality ratio is good considering the location. Pros: - Location is great, its on the water with plenty of parking, 2 minutes from big bear marina, and 3-4 minute drive to the village...walking distance if you were so inclined. - Pet friendly - Staff was super friendly and helpful. Potential cons (depending on personal preferences and expectations): - If you are in to glamping or this idea of a luxury cabin experience, this is not the
